Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between codingrules.ai (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “the Provider”) and users of the platform (hereinafter referred to as “User,” “Customer,” or “you”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services and Subscription Plans
We offer digital services for managing and creating coding rules. Access is based on a subscription model with the following tiers:
- Free: Basic features with up to 5 private items of each type.
- Starter: Up to 10 private items of each type and additional features.
- Pro: Unlimited private items and full access to advanced features.
Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.
3. Registration and User Account
- Users must register an account to access our services.
- Users must provide accurate and complete information and keep their login credentials secure.
- Sharing an account with multiple people is not permitted.
4. Subscription Term, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually).
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time before the renewal date.
- Cancellations must be made through the account settings.
- Payments already made are non-refundable.
5. Payment, Pricing, and Billing
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
- Payments are processed through Stripe or other authorized payment providers.
- By subscribing, the User authorizes recurring payments based on the selected plan.
- If a payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend the User's account.
6. No Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once the User has expressly agreed that the contract is fulfilled before the withdrawal period ends.
As our digital services are available for immediate use upon subscription, no right of withdrawal applies.
7. User Responsibilities
- Users agree to use our services lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
- Misuse, including posting or using unlawful content, is strictly prohibited.
- Users are responsible for all activities conducted under their account.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content, software, and technologies provided on codingrules.ai remain the exclusive property of the Provider.
- Users retain ownership of their created content but grant the Provider a non-exclusive right to use and display such content on the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We are only liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
- In cases of ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of material contractual obligations (“cardinal obligations”).
- We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits.
10. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Users have rights to access, correct, and delete their personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11. Changes to the Terms
- We reserve the right to amend these Terms.
- Users will be notified of significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
If the User is a business, a public legal entity, or a public special fund, the exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these Terms is Karlsruhe, Germany.
13. Dispute Resolution
We are neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
